Tipping is customary in Lebanon; service staff are often underpaid. At restaurants leave 10-15%; the 11% VAT on the bill is not the tip. Cash preferred; USD is widely accepted alongside LBP.

Service charge

Round up
To increase the total bill amount to the nearest convenient whole number or denomination.
Exceptional service

Cash preferred
A preference for cash tips over card tips, often because card tips may not reach staff directly.
